I used to own a couple of their games a long time ago, and from what I remember they were pretty fun. Also, here's another blast from adventure gaming past: Adventure PDA. What's cool about this one is that you could download the source (at least of the originals) and make a PPL version Eric Pankoke Founder Point Of Light Software http://www.polsoftware.com/

PPL is ideal for re-creating these style of games and applications. I think we need more old style games/software re-developed for the mobile generation. The hardware would not be pushed too hard and they should be simple enough to re-code in PPL. Games today are too 'GFXy' and the game play has been sacrificed. Games of the 70s, 80s and early 90s were all about gameplay and addiction value, regardless if the graphics looked rubbish. I think we should have a 'Made with PPL - retro' section in the forum so we can post our PPL conversions of classic games and apps. - What do you think Alain? I found this interesting app - http://www.pocketdos.com/ while looking for retro stuff for the PDA/PPC. Seems good for retro PC stuff as it even runs Windows 3.0 Editor of \'Voice of the PPL\' the newsletter for the PPL by the PPL! Still trying to get people to contribute to the newsletter!
