Is it just me or have I shared more code recently than any one else?

Come on guys, don't keep it to yourself!

I know you are all thinking that your good idea or coding is worthy of selling on a PPC software site or through a commercial channel, and thats fine.

Uncle Bill has made bucket loads of cash by keeping code to himself at M/S.

Mark Shuttleworth on the other hand has made a sizeable sum from giving his away.

I'm not asking you to give away your secret projects, just a request for a bit more participation to help those unsure of what PPL can do!

Community spirit and all that!

Are you talking lines of code or numbers of apps?

Maybe I should elaborate then - Useful code snippets would be good.

Other peoples angle on ideas and ways of doing things

I am surprised no one has done any real OLDSKOOL demos with PPL - I know its possible coz I got one that I've not shared yet!

i would port any oldscholl demos, if i have some. but i didn't experience the "old days" and i haven't enough skills yet to program more complex demos. if somebody have example code or knows a good site, let me know, i'll look into it.

I searched for 'Amiga Demos' or 'ST Demos' on google - there are loads of sites with demo references. No source code, but images of how they look and most of there work in the emulators so you can get a good idea of what is required.

I have some source code that Im working on for a demo and will release it once it is polished up a bit more. ... See me again releasing code!!!! lmao

oh i found shed loads of qbasic resources on the net - some easy to understand, some harder.

Qbasic looks like it does more than PPL, but we just have to be creative and after all Qbasic will not cross compile to a PDA!

PPL rules!!! hee hee

Well in my opinion you have enough enthusiasm, humour and bubbling good will to account for all of us, so just keep posting.
One day someone will decide you can't have it all.

You can lead a horse... comes to mind.
