does anyone have any experience in selling their software on sites such as clickgamer handango pdasoft and so on.
how does it work?
how do you get paid?
what about people registering your software?
and many other questions like that.

Stay away from Handango if you can afford it. They are basically thieves, point blank.

I have not tried ClickGamer but they seem to be okay.

If you are not in the states you might want to stay away from PocketGear, they are affiliated with Handango and will take another 20% from your profit for nothing. So you are talking approx. 60% cut from your profit.

If you can afford it do your own promotion and advertising and sell using eSellerate, ShareIt or something like that.

You get paid by check every month most of the time.

Issue a press release with www.dpdirectory.com or www.softpressrelease.com, use RoboSoft to build your PAD file and send it to all shareware sites. This will cost you somewhere around $300.
